Swing 'n' Jazz play at the Brunswick Bowling Club, 104 Victoria St, East Brunswick, on Sunday 19th May from 3 - 5pm. Join us for an afternoon of small-group swing from the '40s and '50s, including some of Louis Jordan's wacky songs. You could bring your dancing shoes.
Windjammer Brass Quintet plays at Open Studio, 104 High St, Northcote, from 5.30-7.30pm on Sundays 12th and 26th May. "Music for Fun and Fancy" will have some Renaissance pieces, some jazzy pieces, something for kids (at heart, at least), and some beautiful 20th Century suites.
On Sunday 2nd June from 2 - 4.30pm at St Stephen's Church, 360 Church St, Richmond, the quintet will be joined by the Mosaic Community Choir for an afternoon of "Music to Delight You". Prices are $15 with $10 concession and children U12 free. Online bookings through www.trybooking.com/CSTZ or pay at door. This will be a wonderful afternoon of music in a beautiful venue.
